This is not a comprehensive list of all public agency of the State of Oklahoma. This list includes agencies of high public interest or of great importance. Certain agencies like the Office of Governor or Attorney General will be omitted because of their highly partisan nature.

Agencies

The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety (DPS) is a government agency for the State Oklahoma. The DPS is responsible for the administration of justice, statewide law enforcement, vehicle regulation and homeland security.

The Oklahoma Health Care Authority is a state agency responsible for the state Medicaid insurance system (Sooner Care).

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is the main agency in charge of the maintenance of state transportation infrastructure. One of the biggest state agencies, the Department of Transportation is the parent agencies to many small agencies like the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority and The Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission.

The Oklahoma Ethics Commission issues rules regarding ethical conduct of state elected public officials. The Commissions also stores financial disclosures, campaign contributions and expenditure reports and lobbyist registration.

The Cabinet of the Governor of Oklahoma is a body of senior advisors appointed by the Governor. The Governors Cabinet was created after the Executive Branch Reform Act of 1986 was passed.
